Frequently Asked Questions

What devices can I run Etude on?
Etude runs on all models of iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch running version 3.1 of the OS or higher.
I bought the iPhone version. Do I have to pay again for the iPad version?
No, the iPad version available for free for those who have already purchased. It's delivered as an update to the existing app. To get the new version, update through iTunes, then plug in your iPad. Verify in the "Apps" tab that you have told iTunes to sync Etude to your iPad, then run a sync as normal.
I'm having trouble starting the app! How can I fix this?
There are a few things that could be going on:
  • You don't have the required OS. Double check that you're running 3.1 or higher.
  • Authorization/DRM-Related Issues. If you've switched around iTunes accounts at any point, the apps on your phone may be authorized to your old account. For whatever reason, instead of actually informing you of this fact, the iPhone responds by quitting offending third-party apps as soon as they start. To fix this problem, follow the steps in this forum post.
  • Your iPhone is out of memory. The amount of memory on early-model iPhones available to apps can decrease to ridiculously small amounts if the iPhone has been on for a long time. Try restarting it and launching the app again.
  • You're missing a song I like. How can I suggest it be added?
Let us know what music you'd like to see by writing a song request.
